Handle and navigate powerboats, safely and confidently, with our full range of RYA Powerboating courses.
New to Boat Handling? Start with a 2-day RYA Powerboat Level 2 course. available throughout the year. (Ask about RYA PB Level 1, a 1-day family course, from age 8)
Level up your skills and go further with a 2-day RYA Intermediate Powerboat (Day Cruising) or RYA Advanced Powerboat (Day and Night) course.
Protecting the planet: By using HVO instead of petrol, our net carbon emissions are reduced by about 96%. All the carbon we emit has previously been taken out of the atmosphere by the plants that produced the fuel.

Our shore-based courses provide the background knowledge and skills to support your practical training and experience on the water.
Build solid foundations in safety knowledge and navigation skills on our RYA Day Skipper (Shore-based) course. Available over two weekends from October through to May, flexible so you can pick the dates that work best for you.
Go further and gain confidence by taking our RYA Yachtmaster (Shore-based) course. 3 x 2 days in January, April or flex over both.
Transmit safely (and legally!) once you've completed our 1-day RYA VHF Radio Short-Range Certificate course. Same-day assessment always available. Dates throughout the year.
Save lives at sea with a 1-day RYA First Aid Afloat course. Updates any Emergency First Aid qualification, with a focus on treating casualties at sea.
